Hi, in the past few years I noticed that most writers I follow on Medium have less than 5,000 followers. This past year I read that some of them were experiencing shadow-banning. As if they didn’t have enough problems.
I don’t believe serious writers ever have a large audience. But I feel that a YouTube channel could help readers find these writers. It could be a place where we could talk about subjects that interest us. I have some technical skills so if not me, who?
UPDATE 1/31/24: I doubt this channel will survive. I’d rather write than chase down writers who probably would rather spend their time writing. I’ve deleted the filler videos and left only the few interviews writers agreed to take part in.
Any suggestions more than welcome! Or maybe you’re a writer and would like to discuss something on YouTube? I can be reached at maxrottersman at [don’t-be-evil].com
